Rulerwork 104

January 15 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

*Prerequisite: Ruler Work 101

It’s time to learn some designs for borders! Please bring a ruler with a good curve.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to set up your machine.
Instructor: Marilynn Bouclin

Supply List:
• Machine with ruler foot, foot pedal and some kind of extension table
• Sewing machine manual, just in case
• Quilting Needle for your machine, 90/14
• Thread
• Rulers*** If you have the nesting rulers and would like to make a design with them, please bring extra quilt sandwiches and plan on staying longer.
• Machingers (gloves for gripping fabric.)
• (3) 4 ½ inch x 25 ½ inch muslin quilt sandwiches. Mark the inside area at 3 inches x 24 inches and baste. You can assemble them ahead of time.
• Spray baste. I recommend 505. (If you are assembling the quilt sandwiches in class).
• Supreme Slider (a mat you place on your machine to help your material move)
• Self-threading needles
• Marking pen. I recommend the blue, wash away one or Frixion.
• Spacing Gauge
• Any other notions you need for sewing
