*Prerequisite: Ruler Work 101
This class in the Ruler Work sessions is both fun and functional. We will be using the straight ruler to connect points on your quilt to create complete and interesting designs. You will learn the starburst, lattice and diamond designs.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to set up your machine.

Supplies: All materials listed below are carried by Blaine’s.
• Machine with ruler foot, foot pedal and some kind of extension table***
• Sewing machine manual, just in case
• Cushion for chair (seats are too low).
• Quilting Needle for your machine, 90/14.
• Threads for top and bobbin- your choice of color
• Bernina 4-in-1 ruler , Angela Walters Slim ruler or any straight edge quilting ruler
• Machingers (gloves for gripping fabric.)
• (4) 8 inch square muslin quilt sandwiches. We will assemble them during class as we will be marking the “dots” first.
• Spray baste. I recommend 505.
• Supreme Slider (a mat you place on your machine to help your material move)
• Self-threading needles
• Marking pen. I recommend the blue, wash away one or Frixion pen.
• Spacing Gauge
• Any other notions you need for sewing
