Miranda Tote – Session 2

Design and construct an elegant, functional tote bag utilizing cork and faux leather. This bag features multiple interior and exterior pockets for easy organization The project can be easily sewn on a domestic sewing machine. This class will be in two parts. Part one is for cutting and preparation of pattern pieces. Part two is for construction of the bag.

Supplies list:
• Pattern – available at Blaine’s
• Sewing machine, in good working condition, with zigzag foot and zipper foot
• Needles – size 90 topstitch
• 6” x 24” ruler
• Rotary cutter with new blade installed
• Cork fabric – ½ yd – available at Blaine’s
• Faux leather fabric – ½ yd – available at Blaine’s
• Cotton fabric of your choice for lining – 1 yd
• Coordinating all purpose thread – also wind 2 or 3 matching bobbins ahead of time
• Lazy Girl Face it Soft – woven fusible interfacing – 2 yds
• By Annie’s Soft and Stable 1 pkg 18” x 58”
• Hardware kit – supplied by Blaine’s – included in class fee
• Decovil stabilizer (supplied by instructor)
