Create a festive, patriotic table runner “in the hoop” using your embroidery machine! In this class, you’ll learn how to stitch and assemble a red, white, and blue themed runner featuring classic Americana motifs like stars and decorative borders.
Students will be guided step-by-step through:

Proper hooping techniques with stabilizer and fabric
Stitching embroidery designs with accurate placement
Finishing techniques for clean edges and professional results
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate (must know how to use embroidery machine proficiently)

” Embroidery machine in good working order with new 90/14 needle in place
” 6×10 Hoop or Larger
” Bobbin wound with embroidery bobbin thread(bring spool to wind bobbins as needed)
” USB stick
” Isacord 1911(red), 3333(blue), 0015(white)
” Heavyweight Cutaway Stabilizer
” Tearaway Tape
” Thread snips and/or scissors for trimming

SESSION TWO SUPPLIES 6/18:

” Sewing machine in good working order with new 90/14 needle in place
” Bobbin wound with white all purpose polyester thread
” Spool of white all purpose polyester thread
” Finished embroidered blocks trimmed to size
” Wonder clips or pins
” Scissors
” Seam Ripper
