Box Bottom and Bows Tote

Box Bottom and Bows Tote
We have all done it. We purchase 5” X 5” precut charm packs because
we just love the fabrics. Then, they sit in our fabric bins and wait for us to bring them to
life. Don’t let them sit any longer! Let’s get those 5” X 5” precuts out of the fabric bin
and make something!
When: January 15th 2026
Time: 10:30-3:30
Fee: $35.00
Skill Level: Confident Beginner – you must know how to work your sewing machine; prepare and cut
fabric
Supplies list:

on a scrap of your fabric before using it on your project.

● Measure your squares and trim them to 5” square if needed – manufacturers will cut
these squares about an ⅛” larger than 5” square.
● Arrange your 5” X 5” squares into any desired pattern of 3 ROWS of 5 squares each
● Sew them using a ¼” seam allowance – alternate pressing seams to the left or right to
facilitate nesting when sewing rows together
● Make TWO; This will produce two rectangle pieces of 15 squares each
Make two rectangles of 3 rows of 5 squares (see store for diagram)
