Birds in Bloom Machine Embroidery Wallhanging (Class 1)

Celebrate the beauty of Spring with this charming wall hanging featuring flowers in bloom and cheerful birds. Explore creative machine embroidery techniques in this two-session class. You’ll learn how to manage layering, placement, and construction, with special focus on creating 3D bird wings and flowers for added texture and dimension. This project is a great opportunity to build confidence with multi-step embroidery and finishing techniques while creating a beautiful seasonal piece.

• Embroidery machine in good working order with new 80/12 Sharp needle
• Bobbin thread wound with machine specific thread (bring spool with you)
• *8×8 & 5×7 hoop (machine must have the ability to sew in an 8×8 field)
• Polymesh stabilizer
• 1yd batting
• 1yd Face-it soft
• 6×6 square of heat n bond
• 10 Fat quarters (We will have bundles available)
• 1/3yd light blue fabric (outer borders)
• Pinking shears
• Tearaway tape
• Snips (applique scissors)
• Frixion marker
