DESCRIPTION:Ryan’s Case for Smiles (https://caseforsmiles.org/) provides children facing life changing illnesses with whimsical pillowcases that give them an emotional boost and remind them they are not defined by their illnesses. This simple gift provides proven emotional benefits by offering distraction\, reducing stress\, and inspiring hope for children and their families. A small gesture can make a huge impact! \nJoin us at Blaine’s on Saturday September 26\, from 12:00–3:00 p.m. as we sew pillowcases for these young patients. \nPlease bring your sewing machine or serger\, along with scissors\, pins\, and any other basic sewing supplies. We’ll demonstrate several methods for finishing the pillowcases\, and all pillowcase kits will be provided. \nA suggested cash donation of $10 (or $5\, if preferred) to benefit Ryan’s Case for Smiles would be greatly appreciated but not required.
